Internal Seas of Trees Announcement

At the beginning of the year the Lids Foundation Partnered with Seas of Trees to help them purchase 2,000 saplings.

These saplings were recently planted in Telluride, CO at the Demonstration Solar Forest. Over 100 volunteers helped put the trees in the ground from ages 5-75, from Telluride Academy campers to BlueGrass Festivarians. Seas of Trees goal is to plant as many trees as there are people who live in Telluride all while teaching children about the importance to act on the climate crisis by empowering them to plant trees.

Seas Of Trees is a non-profit rooted in Telluride Colorado with a mission to plant as many trees as possible in their community and in other communities they are partnered with around the world. They strongly believe in the power of community and sharing their love for the climate with others. They are passionate about lowering carbon emissions, protecting diverse forests, and starting new ones.
