The Lids Foundation directly supports local communities and the charitable organizations that serve them to enable community members of all ages to live more active, healthy, and productive lives.

Lids supports 501(c)(3) charities across the United States and Canada with money, expertise, and time whose goals and values align with those of the Lids Foundation.
Lids Hats Foundation: Making a Difference
At Lids, giving back isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are. Since 2019, we’ve donated over $7 million, impacting communities nationwide in meaningful ways:
Empowering Play
- Built 5 new playgrounds and refurbished 2 community basketball courts
- Provided 3,543 sports scholarships and 2,434 pieces of equipment
Clothing & Essentials
- Donated 400,000 hats & clothes
- Provided 1,500 pairs of shoes
- Hosted over 100 shopping experiences for families
Giving Back to the Planet
- Planted 3,000 trees
- Served 50,000 meals and supported local food initiatives like Feeding Hoosiers
Supporting Students
- Supplied a year’s worth of school supplies for 40 teachers & 500 students
- Donated 200 books to classrooms
- Packed 750 backpacks for kids in need
Creating Joyful Experiences
- Sponsored 1,106 adventures for families
- Funded kid’s programs in multiple hospitals
- Provided thousands of camp and clinic scholarships
