2025 Summer Series
What do you think about when you think of Summer? The hot sun? Days by the pool? Vacations? Ice cream? Well at the Lids Foundation, all we can think about is BASEBALL! Ballpark hot dogs, home runs, and memories made! And that is exactly how we spent our Summer Series!
For the second year in a row, we hosted our Summer Series where we partner with different MLB Teams across the nation and treat some well deserving kids and their families to an unforgettable day.
Our day always starts at one of our amazing Lids Stores where we give the kids a shopping spree to get much needed gear to support their favorite baseball team. Of course, customization is always included on hats, jerseys, you name it! Then we head off to the stadium to get the red-carpet experience with early entry, batting practice, and maybe even get to meet a few of our favorite baseball players! Then we all grab our hotdogs and snacks and head to our seats to watch our favorite team win the game!
This year we partnered with the Cincinatti Reds, the Chicago, White Soxs, and the World Series Champions – the LA Dodgers!
Chicago White Sox
Our first stop was with Paul Lam and his team at the Lids Locker Room Store #9061! The team at the store and our special guest Southpaw killed it, bringing lots of energy, fun, and laughs. The game might have been rained out, but each family left with huge smiles on their faces!
Cincinnati Reds
Our second stop was our original Summer Series team, Lids Store #6670 in Cincinatti. Ted Harton and his team were excited to host our national partner, The Arc for the special day. This event was extra special because it was the kickoff to our August Promotion with The Arc The kids had a blast in the store and Ted even made a lifelong friend in Coralie.
The Reds never disappoint and made sure that players came over to interact with the kids, signing baseballs and making sure each kid felt special.
Los Angeles Dodgers
Last, but certainly not least, we ended our tour with the iconic and World Series Champions, the LA DODGERS!
Our amazing Dodgers Clubhouse Store #9062 was ready to go and equipped with more Dodger Gear than one could dream of! To make things even more exciting, Mr. Bobble showed up to bring the laughs, fun, and tricks!
There is nothing like walking into the Iconic Dodgers Stadium and watching the Dodgers gear up for their game, all while also making sure the kids got a few baseballs as well.
The day couldn’t have been a better way to close out our amazing Summer Series!
